Tallahassee Primary Care Associates was founded in 1996 by a group of veteran physicians to provide the best primary care and pediatric care to the Tallahassee community. We have expanded our services to include specialty care, clinical laboratory, diagnostic department and other services essential to the care of our patients.

We are looking for a Value Based Payment and Performance Manager.

Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer or Senior Director(s) by delegation/activity, the Value Based Payment & Performance Manager will support all VBP and performance related activities. This position will be responsible for the planning, development and execution of activities that support the Company required deliverables and VBP strategies for the organization. In addition, this position will be responsible for executing performance management initiatives in accordance with Company performance measures. This includes developing workforce and Management messaging, training, tools and scorecards to track individual and aggregate Care Center performance. This position will be responsible for collaborating with the data and analytics team to secure performance management reporting to support Company provider incentive programs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university with a Bachelors' degree in relevant field and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • 7 or more years working in a healthcare setting with progressive management responsibilities;
  • 5 or more years' experience in healthcare reimbursement, contract management and/or healthcare business operations;
  • 3 or more years' experience in outcome and performance management in a healthcare setting, or correlating experience in this developing field of expertise
  • Ability to build teams and relational work and workflows
  • Ability to work well and build/maintain relationships with others and under pressure both direct reports and company-wide teams
  • Strong interpersonal, decision making and organizational skills
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
  • High degree of proficiency and ability to run and interpret contracts, laws, regulations and clinical data reports
  • High degree of proficiency and ability to understand quality and value based arrangements and work creatively in transformative state of workflows
  • High degree of proficiency and ability to understand the evolving relationships between clinical workflow, information systems and billing/reimbursement arrangements
  • Strong implementation skills with attention to detail
  • Strong research and data interpretation skills; strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
